Mark your calendars, sailors – the adventure of a lifetime is calling! The Garmin Round Denmark Race 2026 event will start in Aarhus on July 23rd lasting until August 1st, 2026, after nearly 680 nautical miles of exicting racing around Denmark’s breathtaking coastline.

Hosted by the Aarhus International Sailing Center with Garmin as proud title sponsor, the GRDR has already become a bucket-list race for inshore enthusiasts. From the challenging waters of Skagerrak to the picturesque islands of the Danish archipelago, this race combines endurance, skill, and pure sailing joy.

Event Manager Søren Ilsø Mahneke explains why the team is so excited about the 2026 edition:
"After a thorough evaluation, we are pleased to reveal the dates for next year’s Garmin Round Denmark Race. Based on feedback from our partners, internal reflections, and input from sailors in the GRDR community, we have worked to find the optimal timing for this fantastic offshore adventure. We are truly looking forward to the event, and with plenty of time to prepare, we are confident we will see a strong and vibrant GRDR fleet on the start line July 2026."
