For the first time during the record attempt, the Bekking and crew are now forced off of the direct route around Denmark. So be it because the wind has turned more south, forcing Childhood to the east. So now the course is no longer at Kronborg in Denmark but at Torekov in Sweden. This means that they will sail a longer distance as they will have to beat upwind from now until they are through the Øresund. The good thing is that there seems to be optimum wind for going upwind approximately 15 knots and they be sailing on flat water in the Øresund.
