After a strong night of sailing in westerly winds, the fleet reached the northernmost point of Denmark.

Just before midnight, the singlehanded boat XAR was the first to round the Skagen waypoint, closely followed by TRI and Palby Marine.
From Skagen, the fleet enjoyed fast reaching conditions in fair westerly winds of around 20 knots on the way towards the next waypoint at Elsinore and Kronborg. TRI was the first boat to pass Kronborg at approximately 12:20, with Palby Marine close behind.
The leading boats have now passed Copenhagen and Falsterbo and are heading east towards Bornholm.

Unfortunately, three singlehanded sailors — The Beast, Alba and Forevigt — have had to retire from the race due to mechanical or electronic issues. All sailors are safe and well onboard.

The race continues, and the fleet is now facing the next major challenge on the route around Denmark.
