Gerard Burgers and his crew aboard Shōdoun, a JPK39FC, are joining the Garmin Round Denmark Race 2026 in the Fully Crewed discipline.
One of northern Europes longest and most challenging inshore sailing events, attracts adventurers from across Europe, and now also Gerard:
“Late summer and at midnight a Dutch sailing yatch moored next to us in the marina of Vlieland. It happened to be the GRDR25 ORC winner Tacksail-Jager, still flying the GRDR banner at his backstay. We thought, how cool, why not participate next year and experience this great event,” says Gerard.
Their upcoming participation marks another exciting Dutch entry for GRDR.
