Michael Møllmann and the Hansen Sailing Team have set a new record on the Inshore Route of the Garmin Round Denmark Race 2024, completing the route in 91 hours, 13 minutes, and 19 seconds.

Their race blended champagne sailing with tough, challenging conditions. From smooth, exhilarating stretches to demanding upwind battles, the team demonstrated resilience, strategic thinking, and flawless teamwork to secure the record.
Garmin honored Michael with a special edition watch engraved with the record time, symbolizing both the achievement and the innovative spirit shared by Garmin and the Hansen Sailing Team.
The team is embarking on a global sailing tour, with stops in Malta, Antigua, and a Pacific crossing this summer. "We are embarking on a larger world tour with our boat. The first stop was Malta in the autumn, the next stop is Antigua this spring, and the third stop is a trip across the Pacific Ocean this summer—it’s fun," said Michael Møllmann.
The 2024 Garmin Round Denmark Race will be remembered for this incredible accomplishment and the spirit of adventure it inspired. For Michael Møllmann and his team, it was a testament to perseverance, preparation, and passion for the sea.
Congratulations to Michael and the Hansen Sailing Team!
